2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Supercrew Price - $44,315
I went to the Texas State Fair on Wednesday and saw both the 2011 SuperCab and SuperCrew Raptors. The SuperCrew was on a display though and hard to see. The SuperCab was totally decked out and very nice... but $49K as spec'd.
Anyways, they released the official pricing today for the 2011 models with the new engines.
2011 SuperCab Raptor - $41,550
2011 SuperCrew Raptor - $44,315
To rich for my blood but very nice trucks. Wish I could afford one. Maybe in a few years when they are used.

I don't think it's a bad price for a supercrew. I would have owned one if they were available when I bought my truck... find it a little difficult to trade a truck in thats less than a year old though.

Don't get me wrong I would LOVE to have a raptor. But serioulsy...$41-$44,000 for a PICKUP!!??!!?? I bought a 2004 f150 xlt supercrew 5.4 4wd new and paid $33,000 and I thought that was alot. Im sure the raptor is one bad *** truck but I think that price is outrageous. I have always been a Ford guy..owned a 1993 f150 flareside...1996 ranger....1999 ranger....2001 f150 screw and my current 2004 supercrew....all were bought new. Im afraid...however...ford is sucessfully leaving the average "working man" behind and I am starting to see that they are putting most of their prices out of my range. I still love fords but....."BUILT FORD TOUGH"???? for who??? the men in suits and ties because they are just about the only ones who can afford them anymore.

Schulace i totally agree with you. Everything is more expensive. But if you go to a new car lot whether it be GMC, Ford, Chevy or whatever...most of what is on the lot is out of price range for most average americans. The only decently priced vehicles, for the most part, is something the size of a match box with no room for things like...umm i dont know, kids maybe. So what exactly is their target customer? Low to moderate income make up most of the country. That is why I personally find it hard to sympathize with car manufacturers when reports come out about their sales being low. Perhaps if they priced most of their vehicles with the general public in mind they would sell more. Like I said i do understand what you are saying I just dont agree with their prices. Looks like a world where are only 2 classes of people, the poor and the rich, is right on our doorstep.

You're comparing 2011 prices to 2004 prices, and you're comparing a fully loaded SVT vehicle with lots of extras to a middle of the road truck. Both ways you're comparing apples to oranges. They aren't pricing out the average American. The average American has no need for and doesn't buy a specially built offroad desert race truck. The average Joe buys an XLT, which by the way you can get a new, nicely optioned '10 or '11 XLT for $33k. You can probably get a new XLT for as low as $25k depending on how you option it out and once you take off rebates and other discounts. For those that have a little less than the average Joe there are XLs and STXs that are even cheaper

I know this thread is old, but my 2006 supercrew lariat 4x4 was stickered at $43,000, making it just 2k under a 2011 supercrew raptor sticker, and about 2k more than a 2011 supercab. I think these trucks are reasonably priced.
