There's so much bad-***-ness crammed into one truck its sickening. Anyone that owns one will have Chuck Norris and the Marlboro Man coming to them for advice.

the way they are selling raptors, theres a good chance they will offer more cab configurations. i think i read that the raptors are out selling the normal f150's right now.

i have one in my driveway already =) traded in my 2005 fx4. i did get a chance to test drive a 5.4 and the 6.2 before i made my purchase. i didnt get a chance to really open both up because the test drives were over city roads. the 5.4 raptor felt a bit stronger but much smother than the 5.4 out of my fx4. only problem was that the truck would get in to 6th gear quickly so when you gave in some gas after it was cruising, it would "hunt" for a lower gear to accelerate. i do not know if when u set it on off road mode the tranny would shift "better" in terms of performance. the 6.2 has much more acceleration potential. im using much less throttle to get the truck going. it doesnt fell as sluggish as the 5.4. it feel almost car like when it accelerate. the problem is, i jump in to one of my mustangs and then in to the truck and the acceleration feels slow. mpg so far with 450mile on the odo is about 14mpg city/hw

Wow! Source?
Not that I doubt ya, but its hard to imagine... as I understand it Ford has accepted 7k orders total for the Raptor (half of those being 6.2L). They've been open for sale since, what August? So thats approx 700 a month? Is Ford really only selling 350 F150s a month these days?
