'12 vs '13 raptor?
Hey ya'll, im looking to bite the bullet and pick up a used raptor. i drove a '14 and couldnt stop smiling the whole time. However the ones i am looking at where i am are a 2012, 37k miles in white for 45,500, and a 13 with 30k miles in black for 46,800. Was there any big things done between these model years? i dont see much. i kinda leaning towards the '12 but dont have my heart set on anything. i would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

The 13 should have the hid headlights right?
I thought they changed something mechanically one of those years, but I can't say for sure. I'll let one of the more knowledgeable folks post that.
Don't want to hold out for a new one? That's a lot of $ for a 4 year old truck.

i havent done a ton of research so far, i was hoping someone would be able or willing to provide a run down of what changed. I think the HIDs were an option for the 13, as well as bead lock tires. I just am not sold on the aluminum thing as far as body repairs would go, or if the new TT will provide the 'fun factor'; i would also expect a new 17 to run closer to 60k when all is said and done (in SCREW). i dont think mileage will be that improved. plus you are relying on a 1st iteration of that engine and transmission.

New 17's fully loaded are $69K. Start at $51k

13s have an upgraded front diff that has a tighter limited slip. Hids were an option and they changed the navigation/climate controls as the other 2 have brought up. Beadlock wheels became avaliable as a Ford performance part but were not a factory build option, although some dealers put them on and then put them on the lot.
