HOW ABOUT Trucks on the LOW Side? Just bought a 2001 SuperCab 4x4 with 48,340 original miles, that was serviced by the local Ford dealer every 5K and was first sold 30 miles from my house in the San Francisco Bay area. Just a light dusting of surface rust in a few spots, and a CV boot that was ripped, but other than that it looks better than most 2 year old trucks, and I am stoked to have her!

On the other end, the 1990 F150 I just sold had 320K, with 275K on the original 5.0L engine. When we opened up the 5.0L, it could have gone another 100K easy.

I had a Chevy with the 350 that had 265,000 miles when someone burned down my garage. Which let me to the '04 f150 that I have now. The 04 is right at 200,000 miles and it just started having issues. Compression is gone on 3 and 8. I am finding a new motor to put it and I'll rebuild the one that comes out of it.

I had a 92 f150 with 376,000 miles on a 6 cylinder and it was still running strong when my sister and I hit a patch of ice. The Chevy was a 94 and I had just put a new throttle body(Holley performance) on it and a fuel pump and it ran better than any truck I've ever been in. I believe the Chevy would have went 350,000 miles easily. I also had $6000 in parts in that truck in just over a year. We have an excursion at home with the v10 and it's at 245,000 miles and it's been very poorly maintained and it's still driving great.

I never understand why people shy away from trucks with 150,000+. If you take care of it they'll run for a good long time. It's all about who has owned it and what they did with it and how well it was taken care of.

Nice. I almost got a brand new 15 in january. Ive heard good things about the 5.0l. 28000 for a brand new truck is cheap too. Deal fell through. My 03 wont let me down. Just did the crank sensor the other night. Typical ford pain in the *** but made a huge difference

My dad had a 97 f150 with a little over 300,000 miles on it. Was gonna trade it in on his then brand new 13' f150, but dealer only was gonna give him 1,000 for trade in! Still bought the 13' but kept the 97'. 6 months later the head gasket went out!

Default 1994

I've had an original purchase1994. Now at 265,731 miles. Original engine and transmission. The Transmission is starting to jump, but the engine is smooth as silk.

Smile 412,000 +

I have a 1998 4.6l XLT that has passed 412,000. It has the original engine and transmission and never been rebuilt. The transmission is slipping a little, but haven'r replaced it yet. What an incredible truck. Our '04 Expedition has 188,000 on it. I truly enjoy this truck. The + is because my mileage has been intermittent. I have lost track of about 1300 or so miles. It will work for a little bit, not work for a little bit. Probably need to check on thread on here for that.
