Default Spark plugs in a 05 with a 4.6

My 05 seems to be sluggish. Want to change the plugs and wondering how difficult it is to do that. Also looking for recomendations on plugs.

Default Opinions Abound:

The plug replacement job is difficult. Access to #4 is very tight. There are many posts addressing the issues you face, so a little research of the site is warranted.

As for a recommended plug, the OEM plugs for the engine are a very good choice. Your engine should be COP, Coil-On-Plug, so some Bosch P+2 plugs would work well....a set of those plugs in my '94 LTC 4.6L returned improved performance and a little better fuel mileage compared to OEM plugs or the Autolite equivalent.

Its easy as pie. Prolly take you 1 hour or so and use motorcrafts or autolites.

Be cautious use highest quality tools. Extreme care with plug hole threads. Platniums please.
