take this with a grain of salt - but why are you ready to sink $7k-$10k into a truck that is 10years old and has 200k+ miles?

If it were my money, I'd take that $10k and put it down on a brand new truck COMPLETELY customized to your specifications - whether it's engine & transmission, exterior/interior, towing & suspension, whatever…just my opinion...

This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Original owner and over 200000 miles and only things I have done are regular maintenance and change a coilpack why chance paying $30000 and having more payments and higher insurance when I have a perfectly good vehicle with no payments and low insurance in front of me. Not made of money like others seem to be.

So the rebuilt tranny seems good. Not a huge difference, but I can tell a differerence mainly at WOT there is no hesitation. So I was looking to go ahead and start buying some things to add when I do the rebuild. I was thinging of getting a set of long tube headers. What is a good set that is worth the money with known performance gains.
