I lowered my 04 f-150 4x4 two inches in the back and since then it makes a rough noise in the suspension. any ideas on what it might be..

To much compression on the trucks testies. 4X4's shouldnt be lowered.

Had the same problem bro...I looked up thread here,now I don't have a 4x4 but mine squeeked too much,jus spray some wd40 on the tailgate brushings on the inside some on the shakles and WALA! my problem was solved,and that because I took off Two of my leaf springs to lower my truck

you might have better luck in the 04-08 section. Not sure why this is in the engine specific section

How'd you lower it? Shackles or pull the stock block?
Is it a heritage or 04-08 body style?
