Looking for power. Need help finding it lol
I picked up a 2002 F-150 Fx4 with the 4.6L (Idk if its the v2 or v3. How do can I tell) back in December of last year. I came out a 1997 Silverado with 5.7 350 vortec.
There is there is a huge power difference. I'm trying to get as much as I can within reason put of what I have now. I just started with upgrades currently have straight pipes from cat back and some aftermarket wheels. I'm in the process of getting the typical first mod (cold air intake) k&n and a throttle body spacer from air raid...
Any thoughts and suggestions would be great.

What you are already doing will make some difference. The one biggest bang for your buck is the tuner. I put an Edge Evo on my 4.6 and it made a tremendous difference.

By chance do you know what model programmer you have... is it a plug and play or is it one with a monitoring screen. also was that something that was fairly easy or something that may take some time to do

Edge Evolution and it has a display screen for 4 functions of your choice. Can change the functions easily. After reading the instructions it is less than 10 minutes to install and go. No tools necessary. Yes there are others and I have not tried any others. Bought mine used and happy with the performance.

I just was looking into them and the i don't know if i want to go with the EVO CTS or the Insight CTS. I'm leaning to the insight just because of the added engine management, also can track 0-60s and quarter mile times and a few extra... The $200 cheaper is also a big bonus
