i have a slight "off idle" at idle
Hello all,
I have an O2 with about 22k miles. Looks like the day it rolled off the showroom but I had a few issues I would like to resolve.
I do not drive this vehicle very much. It sits inside and gets regular maintenance and the such. I have noticed that the motor doesn't run as smooth (my other vehicles are luxury vehicles) so I don't know how smooth these motors run. Seems to run find in all other aspects. I took it in to have some maintenance done at the dealer. No codes, new plus, all fluids, belts, new battery, fuel. Pump, fuel pump controller, fair and fuel filters, aftermarket rotors/pads, installed an electric fan. Other stuff not related to the issue.
The mechanic said it is fine. No codes, O2 work fine and do not need replaced. Anyone have any input or am I just a little OCD.
Thanks

Has done it since I can remember. It has been driven about 400 miles the last 4 years before January 2010. But new gas about a week old. Have put rougly 600 miles in 2010.
I had it at the dealer several times but they said it is OK. Even a few people that have ridden in the truck have noticed the idle stumble. It does seem to be consitant all the time the vehicle is idling. Cold or Hott it doesn't matter. They have checked the EGR and O2 system. We have a Snap On scanner that can check the running condition of all the sensor and it seems fine. Milage seems to be ok

crush a little car today
Do some maintenance/cleaning. The MAF will give all kinds of little problems if it gets dirty. Put some fuel cleaner in the tank to. Clean the throttle body and the EGR system. My truck has 47k on it and I stay on these staying clean. Runs like it is new. Figure on changing the plugs at 30k also.
