Default F150/E150 4.6 Manifolds

Hi guys, new here. I don't own a truck but I've been doing research for my Roush mustang..

I'm building another 5.0 Stroker motor and the following article intrigued me to ask, could it work?

http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl..._manifold.html

I've done a little bit of researching and have found that there are 4.6 PI F-series and e-series trucks. Problem is I don't know the years and the chance of me finding one in the junkyard is next to impossible.

I want to run the manifold in the above article, due to the long length of the runners. My current stroked motor already makes great mid range torque and the custom cams I chose are a grind for bottom end but I want more. That manifold looks like my ticket. So I do have a couple of questions, here they are.

1.) What years were the 4.6 PI 2v's used in the trucks?
2.) Can someone measure the height of the lower from the alternator to the highest point of the t/b? I think it'll clear a 3-inch cowl on a mustang but I'm not sure...
3.) Anyone got one for sale? If so is be willing to trade for PI intake on my mustang...

Thanks a lot everyone! Happy belated New Year!
