I have a 1998 f150 4x4 with a 4.6 and am wanting to possibly swap it out for a 5.4. However , the last engine swap I have done was many moons ago when I pulled the 302 out of my thunderchicken and put in a 351m. Back then the computers and such was a no brainer. So my questions are , whats involved with this swap? will the transmission need to be changed ? will the conrtol module need to be changed ? And can I do what I did to the 351m, such as bigger cam , bore , intake and so on. want to beef it up a bit if possible. Any info appeciated.
