Factory flywheel and starter went out approximately 80k. replaced with factory flywhel and aftermarket starter. lasted 'bout 2 weeks before same issue...flywheel gear damage (damaged ring gear). Did load test on starter and starting system. did voltage drop on starter cables niether test showed any issues.
Any suggestions? anyone seen this before. No noticeable damage to trans or engine where starter bolts up. no apparent warpage on flywheel or convertor mounting. need help

Have you checked the harmonic balancer?
