Nice! Wait, didn't you have a white screw with V8 that looked absolutely amazing? I'm confused...how many vehicles do you own now
Not me my last two F150's have both been black. Previous to the 2011 Ecoboost I had an 08 SCAB with the 4.6 V8 4X4. It sucked in comparison to the new Ecoboost motor
carval, your mileage does sound a little low. However, if you have alot of hills on your highway drive you may be about right. My 3.7L SCREW w/ 3.73's did 21 mpg on I-95 from South Carolina to Florida (rolling hills then flatter in FL, and 1500K on the odo) with the AC at 70 mph. But, if you are on more flat land 15 is too low. That's what I get in stop and go city driving. Remember, 70 mph (or 2000 rpm's) is the point where it seems these engines start getting lower mileage. Pay attention to how you start from a stand still, as fast starts with these gears will cause your mileage to be low. Hope this helps.
BTW, the MB will get better mileage. It's lighter with much higher rear end gears.
Thanks. I forgot to mention that I had to recalibrate it since I have bigger tires. I brought it to the dealer and they said that they wont be able to look at it since I have to calibrate it first with the new tires. I gotta find a place where I can get it calibrated cheap coz' I'm not abt to pay $150 labor for it nor buy a SCT tuner. I drove it with stock wheels and tires before and got exactly the same mpg which is 12.9 before I installed the aftermarket ones. That is pretty low even for mostly city driving so I'm sure there is a problem. It's like I bought a V8 with that consumption. I do drive crazy but for the first 1000 miles, I was very light on the pedal and was going 65-70 mph. If I find out that it has a problem, i'll ask them to reimburse me for all my gas bills. Lol!

Ooops! "Night Wolf" and "Nite Wolf" both sound the same. Sorry for the confusion.

That's not bad at all....are the hemis still getting 7mpg? I've known three guys with them and none got double-digit miles per gallon
ive got an 07 4.2, single cab, long bed, stock and over the summer i saw 19 which was all highway driving anywhere between 80 mph and 40 mph(i live in the sticks). not too impressed when my buddy with an 04 4.6 saw the same or better mpg.
My Nelly Belle (95 4x2 Sc Sb 300, 5 speed, 3.08, and 235x75x15 tires 4400lbs)
averages 16 to 17 mpg on my daily 40 mile (round trip) commute. I can get slightly over 20 if I drive at 60 mph. On long trips at 70mph I get 18-19 Mpg.
regards
rikard
