Default Engine Swap

Hi, I have a 1987 F150 with a 300 I6, 4 speed four wheel drive. The I6 is wourn out and I am building a 1985 351 Windsor and would like to put it in the truck. Every thing on and for the 351W will be new including the ignition system. The '87 F150 does not have A/C, cruise, tilt steering or power anything but it does have duel tanks with pumps in them. The 351W was fueled by a mechanical pump. The main question I have is will I be able to use the electric fuel pumps and what do I need to do to make them work? I also want to be sure that every thing will bolt up. I do have the motor mounts brackets from a bronco that had a 302 and I believe that I will be able to bolt them into the F150. I also have a radiator but need to find a fan shroud for the V8. Another thing that I have not been able to figure out is that when I took the motor out of the doner Bronco it had metal pipe across the back of the motor between the two heads. I am not sure if I still have this or not nor do I know if I need it. The exhaust should not be a problem since I am a welder by trade. I feel like im just rambling here but any information would be greatly apreciated. Thank you.

Also, I am wondering if the starters between the 300 I6 and 351 are interchangeable since the one in the 300 is going bad and I am not ready to do the swap yet. I wanted to use the starter for the 351 when I put it in to reduce cost.
Thank you.

ill try to help you out alittle bit there..... the starters should interchange... if the the one from the 351 is from a manual trans mission ...becosue you said the i6 is a manual...
... the metal pipe on the head is part of the EGR system... and i beleive you can crimp that off... i did this on my 91 f150 when i cut the cats off of it...
