Agreed, a 2.7 section is needed. I was a bit confused at first trying to find it.

Just bought my New 2016 F150 XLT 2.7Liter ECOBoost 4X4 with 3.55 and 265-60/18 A/S tires. My first tank with mix of CTY & HWY I got 22.3 mpg(trip was off by +1.5mpg) when compared to pump/ODO. Second tank was all HWY round trip, 851 miles, 25 mpg(trip 26.6mpg) 34 gal. My guess is the Hancock A/S tires get better mpg than the all-terrain tires. BTW I'm running 50 psi in the tires, MAX cold 51 psi. I will watch for tire wear.

Sounds like a winner. Diesel economy without the diesel hassles.

It's an excellent engine. After driving it for awhile I've got no complaints, awesome power and fuel economy. The best I've done so far is 25.3 MPG heading north (200 mi. or so) for the weekend, running 93 octane Shell gas. Mostly highway and county roads, 45 to 70 MPH zones. I come dangerously close to one buddy's '14 Cummins in highway MPG. After my other buddy saw what it can do going up to his land and hauling cut wood around, he went and bought a 2016 2.7 EB for himself. He was purely a GM guy until he saw my truck up close and personal Just doing my part to convert more every day hahaha!

understand it was less with a headwind but how much did you loose? Is yours a crew cab?

About the same here for strong headwinds. When there's little to no wind it gets really good! I've never hit 28 MPG yet though, but I tend to speed a bit too often hahaha.
