I have a 95 F150 4.9 L6 I have started to smell fumes inside the truck. It smells like gasoline. I took the truck to a muffler shop to see if there was an exhaust leak. It checked out fine. Then I took it to a mechanic and he couldn't find anything wrong or any leaks. Its not the catalytic converter either. I have 122000 miles and have maintained the truck very well. Never a problem in almost 18 years of service. Has anyone on here had this problem with the 4.9 L6? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
