Don't forget to measure all angles before you start and record it.

Where do you guys measure from? I only measure the wheel gap since that's the only measurement I'm keeping an eye on.

Measure your driveline angles with an electronic angle finder.
I checked mine at transmission, carrier bearing(both sides), and rear end.

I have been fighting a myriad of issues with my truck since i lowered it (2/2). I am almost to the point where i will be returning it to stock height.
Shims in then out, then blocks out then in. Back twice to have the driveline measured. Rear swaybar in, then out. hanger bearing shims installed then removed.
Does anybody have the stock driveline measurements for a 2013 FX4 supercrew 5.0L FX4 with the 2pc driveshaft (6.5' box) ?
None of the guidelines discuss measuring the 'before' angles.... and now it is too late...

The 2 degree one you sold me, which is actually 2.5deg (stamped on it)

I made it to the Ford dealership and measured the pinion angles on some similar trucks (sure are glad they are closed on sundays!).

I am within 1 degree of what they are (2" lowering shackle installed, no shim, with blocks in).....these trucks seem to be hyper sensitive to pinion angle.

What is the angle coming out of the trans and angle at the rear diff? should be -2 what i set it up to.

Hi Tony, thanks for your response.

This is a two pc driveshaft with the hanger bearing. The geometry at the trans should not have changed ? only the angle at the diff ?
on the stock trucks i measured, the diff angle was about 4.3deg, i am at about 3.5deg.
