realisticly with the stock wheel and tire: there's not enough room either in the front or the rear.


The front is less of an issue since you can quite a bit of camber with the stock arm while the suspension move.
The rear doens't pass and misses about 1/2".


I 'ved had to pull the fender about 1/2" in front and at least 1" in the back to have about 1/4" of spare room when I layed it out.

I ended up going with 285/40/22's. As you can see they hella fill up the wheel well. Barely had them slapped on so not sure if any rubbing in back while I drive. No rubbing in front even with wheels at full turn. They ride excellent.

WOW i like that look im going to have to upgrade my 235's to 285 i have the same problem you had.. need thicker tires, looks a lot better

should be alright as long as you don't load much in the bed.

^^235...dammm a ranger have 235 :P

Tell me about it, bro. It makes the truck look even lower with the wheel wells filled in, but it actually gave the truck more ground clearance since its a taller tire.

Part of the reason i got new tires was cuz I needed to move and my tires were bad. It still rode pretty good and thats cuz my hydraulic setup in the back weighs a few hundred pounds. I did see on one side it did rub a little on the wheel well in the back, tho.
