Default thinking of lowering the rear of my truck.

hey guy how would i go about lowering the back of my truck so that its level with the front and so i can still haul stuff in the bed and on a trailer. not at the same time though.

just get a set of belltech lowering shackles will drop the truck like 2" in the back.

will i still be able to tow? without dragging? when i tow or put stuff in the bed its anywhere from 600-1000lbs

Yeah you should be fine. I have put towed with lots of lowered trucks and never had issues

If it is 4x4 raise the front. If it is 4x2 then lower the rear. A 2 inch drop will never be noticed beside the fact your truck is level like it should be.

i have a leveling kit on the front its 1.5'' and it brought the front of the truck to high it now sits 1.5'' over the back. so needless to say its going to come back off. my truck is 2wd

I'm thinking of dropping the back on my FX2 two inches as well. Next year I'll get the struts to drop the front one inch. I will be using the Beltech stuff on mine.
Truck U did a program on just that recently.
