Greetings, maybe somebody can point me in the right direction on this, i lowered my 2005 Lariat with a 2/5 DJM kit and ended-up with a bad vibration on take off (from standing still); i bought and had installed a McGaugy's Carrier Bearing Relocator. It got better but there's still a slight vibration.

Mechanic said it could be a number of other things and i wonder what would be the most likely culprit?

I have an EDGE programmer set on 1, the 2 piece drive shaft is a new (rebuilt) one, wheels and tires are stock.

Appreciate any help.

normally a bad vibration after a drop if cause by a bad pignion angle...but normally it always get worst with speed...not form a stand stil.

Is the vibration in the steering wheel (front) or in the seat (rear)...

Did you have an alignment after the drop.

My money is on the pinion angle. I'd be willing to bet that you need to install pinion shims.

Thanks for the replies. Sure did get an alignment and (road-force) balance; she track straight and smooth on the highway.

I feel the vibration in the steering wheel.

I'll take it back to the shop and have them play with the pinion angle and see if that fixes it.
