Default At the Shop for a 3/5 drop ...

I took the truck to get the 'deed' done . I wanted to do the install myself , but lack of time on my part and trust in the shop that's doing it , allowed me to get it done sooner .

Latest pic from July 4th ; [with 2 inch drop shackles]

I'll post up some pics when I get her back . Next stop is wheels and tires . Those might have to wait until I butter my wife up a little more . Her birthday's coming up and I just spent 'HOW MUCH' on the truck ....

Don't worry honey [if you're reading this] , you'll be smiling on your birthday too ... xoxo

Pretty damn BIG , but all my redneck friends are givin' me sh.t . S-Crew 'em , They'll get it when they finish growin' up .

The most 'off-road' their jacked up trucks see is when they hop the curb in the McDonalds drive thru , or when they have to park in the grass lot for the fireworks show on the 4th of July .

Haters gonna hate ...

I love them all , Jacked Up or Layin' Frame . A nice ride is a nice ride ...

what parts did you use for teh 3/5 drop?

My truck on a 285 35 22 all around was at 30 inches in front and 30 1/4 in the rear. Yours looks like a 2/3 at most?? and I have a 3/5

mine with 285 35 22 all around

and now on 285 35 22/ 285 45 22 rear front 30 and rear 31 1/4

Tony , you're correct . It did not get the full 3/5 drop. The front springs , Belltech - 23804 [I believe] , only brought the front end down to a big 30.5 inches [almost 30.75] , so we matched the rear height .

Was ;
front height 33'' to fender lip
rear height 35'' to fender lip
both sides are even .

stock wheels - 235/65/16 LT [28'']

Now
front height 30.5/8 - 30.75'' to fender lip
rear height 30.5/8 - 30.75'' to fender lip
both sides are even .

This was measured on flat ground with less than a 1/4 tank of gas .

All things considered , I will be going lower after I get new wheels . I don't think I can do spindles with 16 inch rims . What are your thoughts on this ? I'm torn between 18 or 20 inch Lightning SVT 5 spokes .

What do you think would be a good ride height for 18's or 20's , and what do I need to accomplish this ? I don't wanna tuck, rub or scrape .

rims/tires would likely be ;
18 = 285-40-18
or
20 = 275-40-20

Ideally , I would like the wheel well edge to be even or slightly hiding the top of the tire . Also , I've got to replace the ball joints , a communication error caused these to not get replaced this time .

Needs ?
Spindles
Control Arms

Thanks for your help and comments .

Side by side with my Pastors 2002

Thanks again ...
