well, ive done enough mods on my other vehicles to know whats safe, plus id rather know someones not charging me an arm and a leg for something so easy to do, and i know its being done right!! more power to you if you have that kind of money to spend for labor!!

Yes you need to ensure a propper drive angle.

I put the 2 inch Djm shackles on and did not use any shims. I'm going on probly 10k miles an no vibes or issues. 2 inches is nothing really.

I bought mine on eBay. They are made in the USA, have a grease zerk and is an adjustable 1 or 2" drop which I went with the 2". I jacked the truck up and threw jack stands under the rear frame and used a jack to raise and lower the rear end with a buddy watching for the holes to line up and push the bolts through. Your just taking the load off the leafs. Overall it was a 20 min job start to finish. About 50 bucks and rides better than stock. I used no shims and of course I have a rust free truck that eased the process of removing bolts. Best of luck.

Heres my truck, i only have 2" drop shackles on 305/40r22 wheels. They were pretty easy to install, its even easier if u have a buddy with you
