Default Recipe for 2/4 drop on 2wd 2017 crew cab?

Looks like there's tons of ways to go 5" or more out back but the more I read the more it seems like there's some little issue here or there with damn near every kit on the market.
What's the best way to get to a simple 2/4 drop? I don't necessarily mean the cheapest. I don't cut corners on my trucks, I'm looking for the best parts for a mild drop to clear 305/35/24's or possibly 305/40/22's. I haven't decided on wheel diameter yet but any rubbing at all under any circumstance is unacceptable.
Is the McGaughys kit working well or are there other options?

I'm also wondering about wheel offset for 22's and 24's with a mild drop. I already decided on the ground force / ford racing 1.5 / 3". Only thing I will want to solve is the front sway bar alignment

I went with McGaughy's 2/4 kit and am pleased. I have 22's on order....just waiting for them to come in.

Went and dug up pics of mine....

McGaughy 2/4 drop
New grill. Had it hydro dipped in a carbon fiber pattern. Love it so much better than the 5 bar. [/QUOTE]

Looks nice. No issues with this kit? Seems like the Belltech stuff is all over the place on how well it matches the advertised drop.

Let's spitball using a drop a-arm with a Fox 0-2" lift 2.0 or 2.5 coilover and the McGaughys rear kit with matching Fox shocks.
Anyone done anything like this yet?

I believe the Fox coilvers list as 4wd only. What's the difference between 2 and 4wd?

Don't know if you can do it on a 4x4.

I have no issues with the McGaughy's kit/ I do want to get better struts and rear shocks to tighten up the handling though. My previous cars have included a STi, GTi, and Focus SVT so I am biaased towards handling.

The ground force 1.5/3 kit is 4x4 only. I believe the 2/4 kits require a notch in the rear. You can see mine in person if you like in 2-3 weeks, I will post pics as the build progresses. Just purchased before xmas so taking a while for parts to arrive.
