yessir it is. FL is the paint code. it looks alot better this time around than it did from the factory haha. all of the orange peel is gone now and he went thru 6 different grits of sand paper, so the paint looks "deeper"...if that makes any sense haha.

You just buffed out the factory paint? You had me nervous because I was under the impression you painted it with the intent to shave the handles latter. Looks good and curious to see what you have up your sleave for the bed work.

I know it a good bit of money for the actuators but don't you think it was foolish to paint the truck, when shaving the handles seems to been just around the corner? I fully understand being on a tight budget just seems bass ackwards to spend the time and money to paint now.

Regardless it does look nice just not following the time line.

i dont actually plan on shaving the handles, so its all good haha. i actually didnt have a budget on any of part of this build, but a friend of mine did all the work at his body shop on the weekends. and a bunch of parts of the truck needed to be repainted anyways cause the factory clear coat is crap and i had spider cracks on the hood/fender and roof. i took it to a huge local ford dealer and they tried to tell me that it happened because of a lack of care on my part haha. the truck is never driven in the rain...always clean and always covered. ohwell! im just happy to have a damn truck again haha
