Rear 2"drop...what about shocks?

Rear 2"drop...what about shocks?
Getting ready to drop (rear) my 08 2w drive and was wondering if anyone has any input or info on the stock shocks .Do I have to change them?Will they bottom out if I occaisionlyput a moderate load in the back? I looked throu the lowering section and haven't seen this mentioned.

have you bought the parts allready???
if not hit me up ill save you some cash i deal a lot with these trucks and do installs all the time. for 2 inch drop stock shocks are fine (granted they arent blown)
