i have a '10 screw f150 4x4 and im looking to lower the rear to level it with the front. do i just need to remove the rear blocks or do i need shackles or both? im not too familiar with lowering trucks so i would appreciate everyone's help. thanks!

Depends how much drop you want. Changin shackles will give you depending on which ones you buy 1-2"s of drop, some do 3"s. Depending on your block size removing them will give you another 1-2"s of drop

Anyway, measure from the top of the tire to the top of the wheel well on both the front and back, and take note of the difference (2" on my truck.) Measure the rear blocks, (I believe mine are 2" also.) If they're the same, removing the blocks would make it level.

I removed the blocks and it dropped the back approx. 1.5" (Blocks are 1.25"). Not sure how that equated to 1.5" but doing the measuring the back was .5" higher than the front. Not sure if was this was the reason but I did develop a pinion leak (fixed today under warranty).

That leveled out nicely, I might have to look at doing that to mine now
