Theoretically with a two piece driveshaft the pinion shaft should be parallel to the front driveshaft so the angle of the u-joints at the center bearing and pinion shaft are equal and opposite. That didn’t work on my truck. I had a horrible vibration, so I dropped the pinion shaft angle down 2 degrees to compensate for axle wrap and that eliminated most of the vibration. I still get a slight shudder when it shifts to second gear if I take off from a stop too fast. I have a 4.6L 2V w/3.55 rear end so I don’t have nearly as much torque as you’re 5.0L. I’m sure that makes a difference as well.
I hope this helps.
BTW I have the G/F 2/4 drop kit in my truck. I can’t say for sure but I have read that the G/F springs are ~ 10% stiffer than stock springs. I didn’t shim my transmission or relocate the center bearing either.

If you need to run a larger pinion shim, you need to order some procomp leaf spring pins (the head of the bolt is taller than stock) and stack a few washers that are the same diameter as the bolt head, under the bolt head... This way the bolt head will stick out far enough that you can run a shim and still get the axle perch to fit on the bolt head... Hope I wrote that clear enough to understand, lol
