I hate to rehash an old thread but since you have had this drop for some time and on an 09-14 truck, I would like your input on a couple of questions. Any regrets? How is the ride compared to stock? Do you haul anything in the bed, if so, how does it handle it?

I need to drop mine but don’t really do lowered trucks. I do love the look of yours though and I am seriously eyeballing the Belltech 981SP kit. I need mine lower for access purposes for someone who cannot get in the truck at stock height.

I don't like the drop, it rides kinda stiff. I haul stuff with it often without any issues. Originally I went with Ground Force because they did the suspension on the Lightning and I was trying to avoid a flip kit. Now I want to go lower and I want a smoother ride. My plan is to do 3" djm control arms and 5" belltech flip kit.

I was afraid that might be the case. Thanks for getting back to me. I will try the GF rear lowering shackles first and see if that works. I really just need to lower the front about an inch along with the rear shackles. I wonder if cutting a half loop off a set of stock springs would accomplish that without effecting ride much?
