Default New to truck world, shackle question?

I've read through the posts and can't seem to find my simple answer i need. I want to level my 06 super crew 2wd lariat out even with the front. From what I'm seeing it looks like 2 inches will do it. I was thinking shackles, I just want an even look. Are shims needed? Are shackles the route I need to go and how is it going to change the ride. I just put 305/40/22 on her. Any help is appreciated. Thanx

Shackles will do just fine and what shims are you talking about? The shackles wont change ride at all in my experience....heres my truck with 2" drop shackles on rear stock wheels and then with 24" wheels 295/35/24 tire

Some people say no only if it's 4 inches of change. Others say any time you change the angle you need to. If I did it again, I would have them just to be safe but my installers didn't use them.
