You should get new lowering shocks. It will ride better. I use to have a lowered 1986 Nissan hardbody pickup. I had 2 in. Drop spindles , lowered the the torsion bars, 4 in. Drop leaf springs, and toxic lowering shocks. Belltech use to make a pretty good shock. Check them out.

To install them you dont need anything extra besides the new shackles, its a simple loosen 2 bolts n nuts, change to the new shackles, then tighten the nuts, the only hard part is jacking up the frame from the axle and supporting both frame AND axle so the frame doesnt just drop and fall from the axle when the shackles are off. And you dont have to change the shocks but it will ride a lil smoother if you do, i know all this cuz i put them on my truck so it sits level, hope this helps

Yup, its not gonna make a huge difference but it will def help some especially since you have stock shocks...aalllso having 24" rims doesnt really help with absorbing shocks n blows lol another thing thatll help is when your tires wear out go with a less width and more taller tire to absorb the road a lil better
