Default Need some direction on dropage.

So ive got a 99 f150 flareside and I would like to lower it to give it that more aggressive stance. Here is the issue..Im not to familar with the f150 stuff. Ive look at the pics in the other thread and saw some real nice set ups. Im wanting it so sit aggressively but not trying to scrap on everything under the sun either. Can yall lead me in the right direction?

thanks
sean

There are many variations you could go with. But my experience with the 96-03 is a 3/5 djm kit. It was great but after 6 mo. or so i needed new shocks. I then installed bilstiens and it rode great.

JSVO pretty much covered it. Most lowered 97-03's are running a 2/4 or a 3/5 drop. DJM makes a good product that won't break the bank. I would suggest DJM or Belltech.

Whichever company you decide on, I recommend Belltech's shocks over DJM's. You will not be happy with the DJM shock, they honestly suck!

ive lowered numerous trucks like yours and i lowered my f150 over 10 years ago and no isues with the belltech 3/4 kit.

i sell tons of ford drop kits you need to tell me whats the max you want to spend and ill work off of that.

also do you want drop shocks?

Im not sure how much I want to spend. I know I aint trying to spend 600+ on one thats for sure. Lowering shocks is a must otherwise the driving quality is going to suck. LMK what u can do for me....Also anyone have pictures of a 2/4 drop and 3/5 drop? Knowing how low i want to go is the first step before anything else.

2/4 drop with
djm springs
dmjm shackles/hangers
belltech drop shocks all around
alignment kit in front is way less than 600.
