I am with 1lowranger. He installed them correctly and people saying he didnt must not know what it is like to have loved ones with you in a vehicle when it fails do to a defect and not due to installing errors.....

Great....a shop did mine and my truck was in the air for the whole install untill they brought it to the alignment bay...wonder how much more their going to charge me to loosen them and & torque them with the truck down w/1.5" of clearance....wtf I wonder if this is why it Creeks terrible.. Ive tried everything....grease, cleaning... Sounds like a old couch with coils..
Never saw this in the directions when I read through them, then again I didn't install it myself so didnt read it like a Bible.

It's not in the instructions. I looked them over when I got the replacement to see. One thing I find funny is the alleged reason is installed error. However they send out new parts right away with shipping covered right away ( which I am very happy about). Seems to me if it was intaller error it wodnt be covered and replaced so quick with so little questions. Anything that breaks that was t factory installed correctly is void of all warranty. Just a thought I've had. Also on the creaking, both left and right front started creaking. Then the passanger broke. I'm wondering what that means for my drivers side.

Great... I did this before work season started... Now im 12hrs a day 6 days a week... Im going to have to read up on this, buy a Torque wrench and do it on a Sunday... This freaks me out. I have 1.5" of clearance and if one breaks im bustin something all to ****.. Plus my kids are always with me going to sports on Sundays. Not happy to hear this and I researched what the best front drop was for 2 years on the '09+ style 😤

Was hoping I was the only one.
I will say, that Tony had a new strut overnighted to me right away.
Still worried it could happen again.
Anyone else have their brake line crimped and destroyed when the damn thing broke? ugh...

When did yours break? Luckily mine made some rubbing noises so u pulled over to find it on a 45 degree angle dumping oil. Loaded it on a trailer to prevent further damage. I'm thinking about getting a set of the djm arms or going the other way all together since I have an fx4.

Once again, if it were an install error why are they so quick to send replacements out on there dime? It great service I get that, just seems like there's more there. How many break that aren't on this or any other forum to report there problems?

broke a few months ago. When it wen,t it slammed into my brake line and squeezed it shut. I had no idea that it happened since I had it piggy-backed home. Fixed it, took it for a ride and got a few miles away from home before I realized what else was wrong. Towed her home again and then to the shop to drop another $500 on that repair.
As much as I love the way this set-up looks and as helpful as Tony has been, I wonder if I messed up dropping her like this.
