The wheels are 26x10 w/30 offset. The tires are 305/30/26. Now that I'm lowering it I probably should have went with 295/30/26 for a little more clearance but we'll see what happens Wednesday.

That looks stellar!! I'm going back and forth between the McG and Belltech kits for my fx2.

Could you talk more about the ride quality? Is it much stiffer than stock, bouncy, bottoms out front or rear, rubbing etc. Thanks.

Thanks for the compliment. As far as the ride goes, it's really good. A little stiffer than stock but not very noticeable. Not bouncy at all. I haven't bottomed out at all and there is absolutely no rubbing at all even making u-turns. The only time you really notice any difference is when u hit a substantial bump or pothole but that is to be expected with any vehicle much less a lowered one. I am very happy with it. I hope that helps. The thing with the Belltech that I envy is the adjustable front shocks. That's a pretty cool feature.

Good luck. Can't wait to see the pics after it's installed. I wasn't brave enough to try the install myself.

Hey thanks alot for the feedback. That great to hear that it still rides good. Yeah I'm really looking at the adjustable strut from Belltech but they're flip kit is rated at a 5" drop which I think is going to be a little much. The McG and DJM are rated at 4" I think because of the use of different hanger (McG) and lift shackle (DJM). Not sure I want to do a hanger in my truck as I they can be a beatch to install. Yet I'm not sure I want to do a hanger as I've had DJM pieces in the past and quality wise they mwere horrible. So IDK at this point. Anyone know if western chassis is still around? They had the best static kit available when I had my 02'.

Mine will end up being a 2/5 drop for now... Im not dropping my gas tank..its full. Kit goes on tomorrow. To install the rear lift hanger you have to drop the tank or cut off the stock bolt head next to the gas tank... What did you have to adjust to make it 2.5? Cut spring? If so, how much?
