Default Lowering ONLY back - 2010 FX4

Hi,

I need to try to lower just the back-end of my new truck to fit in my parking garage. If I drop the rear 2" any idea how much that will end up dropping the rear of the cab? I only need about 3/4" more clearance.

Right now due the upward angle from front to rear the back 6" or so of cab will rub, which is about 3/4" height-wise. I'm hoping just dropping the rear will do it.

yeah the dealer will swap the shackles with a shorter set, but I'm curious if anyone ever noticed if or how much it affects the cab height in the middle of the truck.

the 4x4's come w/ blocks on the rear (like 2" i think) remove them and at that part of the cab it should drop 1" because its at the center of the access poit between the front and rear. but it will clear. measure from the top of the wheel to the top arch of the wheel well. have an overweight friend (everybody has atleast 1) stand on it and remeasure, keep adding friends, till u have 2" and try to pull in. u could also let the tailgate down and have them sit on it or just stack something heavy till u have 2" less in the wheel well and try to pull in.
