Default Lowering my truck this weekend

Ok, I have heard that there is a problem with the rear spings with some bolt that is a pain in the @$$. that you have to remove the gas tank to get it out.

There has to be a better way,, any ideas????

If your replacing the front driver side shackle, the bolt opens towards the gas tank which you would need to remove if your kit is designed to replace that part. I put a flip kit on mine and we used the stock front shackle so all we did was unhook the back shackle, and swing the leaf springs down hanging from just that last bolt and then put the axle above the leafspring and swung it back up. Most kits I've seen don't replace that front shackle but if it does then yea, it would be a pain in the ***. Good luck

Well that was a pain in the ***.... I have a Eibach lowering kit that includes rear lieft springs. 2 front 4 rear.

But it handles great and rides just like stock.

I got the kit from Tire Rack for $483.71 including shipping.
