I've got 2 1/2 inches from the fenderwell to the top of the tire. 34 1/4 inches from the ground to the fenderwell. Mine rides great, but like 1lowranger said, low pro tires are gonna ride like crap...

in all honesty I think it rides great with the 26s..... a lot better than I thought.... I just don't want to make it even worse with springs.....I know it's a completely different beast but had a neon I lowered with springs and it rode like absolute **** I just don't wanna put springs on it and have it riDE like **** is my only concern...... I'm really debating putting 2wd springs and struts and see how much it drops and still keep factory ride....

boosted my truck reads from ground to fender is 38.5 inches

It does look like a typo.....unless you found a deal on 23" wheels and tires. I personally have never seen a 23" wheel or tire. Did you mean 305/40/24"???

There out there. Good luck having a blow out outside a major city. 23" tires are oddballs and $$$$$!!!

It sounds like you need to go the Belltech struts route then. It uses the factory springs so not much difference in ride.

I noticed that the belltech struts claim they are for 2wd, but don't the factory 2wd and 4wd trucks share the same strut design? Has anyone tried interchanging these?
