lowered 09+, what size 17 or 18" tires look good
has anyone found a decent wider, lower profile tire to run on 17's or 18's after dropping the truck? the wheel openings on these trucks are so big its like you are almost required to have AT LEAST a 20" wheel to look good dropped. I have both 17's and 18's and cant seem to find a tire size that doesnt look like a 4x4 size tire or leave a huge fender gap.

if I had 20's it wouldnt be so bad, but with 17's or 18's you are adding another 2-3" of sidewall and it just doesnt look right (to me anyway) on a lowered truck.
unless I get an unbelieveable deal on some 20's with tires it really doesnt matter now because just last night I had some 265/70 (32", stock 4x4 size) AT's mounted on my 17's. I was going to use them mainly in the winter, but now I think I am just gonna run them full time. currently sitting at stock height I think I will like the way these look much better simply because they fill the wheel wells up a little more than my 30" tall 18's.
why cant I be normal, and just leave everything stock.
