I've been driving on modified bell tech struts for almost 2 years now. The lowest setting gets ya about 3.5", so that would have to put me atleast 4.5 up front with no issues so far. I pull a car trailer all over in the snow in 4wd. It drives like a stock fx4. I'm not saying it not going to wear out faster, I just don't think it's going to be a major issue.

it's a 3 inch from factory, 5 inch from where I'm at now.
everywhere I've heard, that a 3 will be fine with my front cv axles. Any more and I would be in trouble.
Thanks 1 low ranger, that's basically the only time it would get kicked into 4wd was on snow/ice or if I'm just being a showoff on some wet grass
