Some good looking trucks in this thread. Personally? if someone does a good job (no matter what style) customizing a vehicle, i can appreciate it. where i live? lowering a truck would not end well... but hell some guys around here do it still. haters will always be around, and the vast majority of them dont even touch their vehicles. so screw em.

I personally love the look of lowered trucks and what shanecsmith has done with his is spot on IMO - rocking the stock rims..... all black.... minimal chrome.... Awesome! - I'd like to lower mine as far as I could without notching only I regularly tow a 7500lb travel trailer so maybe not a good choice for me right now. (However I am open to any advice and suggestions on this).... I did recently purchase a leveling kit (2.5 front and 1 rear....LOL) but I have been dragging my *** on the install because I'm not truly into lifting a truck for the sake of lifting it (and again if it fools up my truck for towing then that's not on either..... I'm considering a set of Firestone bags to help out as well...???....but if It fools me up for towing and I take a perfectly good tow rig and F it up for towing then whose the fool?). If it gets used off road and you need the clearance then lift away, but if it see nothing but pavement then why bother? I'd rather lay it out and make it handle. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trolling for a racket here either because some lifted trucks look really cool too but they really should see more dirt. I never did see the point of aggresive tires, miles of lift and tons of other offroad prowess with the result being nothing more than not being able to clear the drive thru.... and where I live I see more than a few trucks every day that are loaded for offroad but for some reason they are never dirty. I guess what a person really needs is three rigs. Up, down and stock - all bases covered.

I'd rather be able to sit something in the bed of my lowered truck; Than lift it over my head into a lifted one. All i have to add for another ignorant child who mommy and daddy has spoon fed.

I absolutely love that bagged dually, but it seems to be from a manufacturer I can't quite identify....

That would make the world's coolest hotshot truck (especially if it were an F350). If I owned that I think I'd sell the house and just drive!
