Also i have a fx2 with the front bumper valence that hangs low, common to scrape these on curbs n such?

Sorry for all the questions, this would ne my first dropped truck.
DJM here! Love the front drop arm concept as far as retaining stock ride quality in the front, and it really rides almost like stock. I've used many belltech products in the past and have had zero issues with them, but you'll need to ask others about how their front drop on these trucks ride.

The DJM flip on my truck (and on most trucks I've seen with them) has made the back sit about 3/4 of an inch lower-to me that is not acceptible. I also managed to bottom out the rear end onto the bump stops before my helper bags-there is very little clearance there (less than the width of an iphone 5!). Also keep in mind that that is with stock shocks out back-we didn't change mine because I knew I'd be going with helper bags as soon as I saw how it sat.

Don't see why you couldn't use airshocks?

Cnotch is not nessesary for a DJM to me.

The FX2 valence wont be much of an issue but you do need to be more conscious of where the nose of your truck is!

Ok, as stated before I have a 4.5.5.5 drop using Belltech shocks. When we take my truck to lunch at work with some of the bigger guys in the back, the ride does seem a bit more bouncy. I would honestly suggest the slamair kit if you don't want to notch it. On the bigger bumps doing 60mph in my rural area it will bottom out, with some heavy passengers.

My FX2 valance does just barely scrape on curbs with the 4.5" drop in the front. So 3" you will be fine.

Also read the belltech shocks are adjustable? Anyone with pics of a 2/4 on an 09+? Ride quality and kit used? I'm assuming a lifting shackle along with a flip kit for the best ride?

This isn't an F150 strut but it is the same design. They use spacers under the lower spring perch to adjust the height.

The rear flip kit with the 3/5.5 kit utilizes a lifting hanger already, so if you wanted to go 4" you need DJM's lifting hanger.

Used djm kit and slambags. How do the lcas compare to belltech struts?

I think both of our reviews tell you how the Belltech and DJM kits ride and compare

I guess my question is what to look for when buying a used kit? Check the bushings and ball joints I assume. Is $350 a fair price?

Shocks are cheap enough to swap, and I would replace the balljoints. 600 new, 350 isn't bad but it sure isn't new stuff or well organized as they were taking it off clearly.
