Installed Belltech 6406 2" drop shackles on my 2013 F-150 today
Well, after much research and how-to articles online, I finally got to purchase the Belltech 6406 shackles and the 2 degree pinion shims. I installed the shackles today. Wasn't as simple as everyone said it'd be, but it was straight forward. Afterward, I took it around the block and got the driveline vibration from 15mph to 22mph.. I haven't done the shims yet, but will take my truck to the dealer tomorrow morning and have them finish everything up. The shackles level my truck to dead level. haha I like it... just need some FX wheels now!

Well, just took my truck to the local driveline shop to get my shims installed. They were put in with the bigger end facing the rear of the truck, and it only cost me $40. Can't complain with that. Only issue is that the shims took out about 75% of the vibration. I am still experiencing a slight vibration from 15mph to 20mph. I emailed Belltech and will call them when they open up on the west coast. I'd rather return everything to stock instead of having driveline vibration.. Very irritating. I'll keep you all in the loop.

Yep.. I called Belltech and they gave me the run around saying that I should've taken my truck to get the driveshaft measured before installing their shims, because it varies per vehicle. I then asked the guy why they'd sell a product for a specific truck/model if it varies?.... he couldn't really come up with a good answer. Going to drop my truck off tomorrow and have it done. Just wasting money. I'm going to return the shims, so that's $30 back in my pocket, but I still spent $40 having them installed, which will just add up to the most likely $100+ job I'm about to have done.

step 1. Install shackles myself
step 2. Take truck to drivetrain shop and have them add the correct shims instead of trusting Belltech to give me the proper shim..
step 3. Smile because your truck looks awesome.

Well, I finally got my truck back from the drive line shop. After a little more adjusting, we decided that to fully get rid of any vibration, I had to go down one bolt hole on my shackles. It raised the rear up a tiny amount, but now I have no more vibration. Plus, by going down that one bolt hole, my rear wheel gap is now even with my front, compared to being slightly below before with the full 2" drop.
