Default Help Me Pick Tires

Hey all. I've finally found a price on the rims that I want. Now I need to decide what tires I'm going with. I don't particularly know much about street style tires so any help would be appreciated (brands, size, whatever you feel is important).

Necessary info:
- 2011 FX4 with rear block removed, stock front end.
- New wheels: 22x9.5 KMC Slides +38 offset

Main thing is, I don't want to have to worry about rubbing with running the wider rims. Anyone have any input on that..?

I'm leaning between Michelin Ltx ms2 or Nitto 420s just go with stock compatible height.

I got 305 50 20 Nitto 420s Just a few days ago. I love the look, and so far they ride way better than the cooper discoverer ht plus's I had in the same size. They make a tad bit of noise on the interstate, but they look awesome. I've even had a couple of strangers compliment how good they look.

The wheels are 20 x 8.5

You should have plenty of room with 9.5s, I imagine with just the rear block removed on a 4 wheel drive you'll have more than plenty of clearance !

Thanks man. I was going to get the 420's. But they would have been a month and a half wait. So I went with Falkien Ziex in a 275/45r22. They took a week to get in, and have an 80,000 km warranty. Love em so far

as with most Falken tires i have ran in the past, make sure you rotate them every 5-6k miles and have them rebalanced every 10k. otherwise you will have vibrations. at least this has been my past experiences with any tire made by Falken. they ride great and look good, they just seem to need a lot of work to keep running true.
