Default Newbie here needs help!!! Lowered fx2 with cracked frame...

I'm new to this forums and just bought a 2007 F150 FX2 extended cab 6.5 bed about two weeks ago.

The truck is been lowered but I don't know exactly how much, by looking at pictures on the web, my best guess it has a 3/5 drop, it has belltech springs up front and flip kit out back, it rides horrible, the first day I brought her home I went and took a look at the suspension and it seems to have stock shocks and the bump stops are about 1/2 inch above the axle, I knew that wasn't right and that's why it bottoms out real easy, well, today I had to carry some stuff for my business that is about 700 lbs. and had to drive through some crappy industrial area street, I heard a pop but didn't think it was a big deal, drove home and unload the truck, after that drove to the gas station and it started making a noise back there and the bed was jumping a lot, drove back home and took a look and guess what, frame cracked on both sides above bump stops

My plan before this happened was to get a c notch kit and some drop shocks for better ride comfort, can I still do this with the frame cracked? What are the best shocks for lowered trucks?

Here's the day I bought it with 275/45/20's

And now with kmc slide 305/40/22

Thanks in advance

Badass truck man sounds like the truck has been slammed on the frame pretty hard before for it to crack id get that fixed then do the notch with belltech street performance shocks out back or raise it up a bit without notch and as for front the springs can be switched or work with belltech struts and it will stiffen ride and feel better good luck thats a one of lowest 150s ive seen on here probably 3/6 or 3/7

I would do the c notch and fix the frame at the same time. Take it to a quality welder.

Thanks for the input guys, I'll take some pics of the cracks in the morning, honestly I want to keep this stance, good to know I can still do a c notch after fixing the frame, truck doesn't look that low in person, I'll take measurements from the ground to fender lips to figure out what kind of drop I have.

For the local folks in the SF Bay Area, any reputable shop that can handle this job?

So, I don't really have any valuable input towards your question. But I just want to say that truck looks siiiiiiick with the Slides! (I might be a bit biased though...)

uhhh a cracked frame is bad. that needs to be fixed before you try to notch or anything. Notching it (since it probably cracked on the lower side of the frame) may cut that spot out altogether, if it doesnt you'll have a major weak spot.

Here's the pics of the cracks, both sides are about the same, the top of the frame isn't cracked yet.

Drivers side

Passenger side
