Default Time for a change

After about a year I was done with the 4.5in drop in front. Thanks to the fellow member Mrocha85 for selling me some stock lca's I was able to make some moves.

Decided to give up the 4.5 and just deal with a 3in drop. My plan is to replace the djm arm with factory, set the drop shocks at factory height, and only use the drop springs for a 3in drop.

So here's where I am now in the front

Well, after a couple of hours and after a more than a couple cold ones I ended up with the damn spring perches upside down, lol. My bad.

After I set the drop shocks at stock height and fixed the spring perches I got to work on the lca's.

I didnt know where to put the alignment holes so I pulled them all the way out, towards the outside, and it made my wheels stick out more the way I wanted but of course the passenger side, the only side i did, was way off on steering angle.

It's prolly the fact that the tie rods where cut with the previous LCA install. 2mro I'll work on it some more to see the happs.

You need to adjust camber first and then you adjust the toe with the tie rod.

Each time you change the camber, the toe change too, it's normal....and nothing to do with the tie-rod end been cut or not.
It been cut might make the tie-rod end too short now, but I doubt it. (the tie-rod end should be inserted into the inner rod by at least its diameter (10mm inner rod: the tie-rod end should be 10mm in at a minimum.)

In the picture above with the strut installed on the truck is the lower perch installed right or wrong? I ask because I'm getting ready to walk out and see how mine is installed. I think mine is installed the other way.

Thank you sir. I wish I would have been on this site when I ordered my kit. You have a great source from the small amount of reading I have done so far on here. Now time to take the last spacer out to get 3/4 more out of my front.

Aside from the outter tie rod being cut, the inner tie rod had been cut as well. Ended up that it WAS cut too short so I went ahead and just bought both outter and inner tie rods.

I finally have everything put back together but still needs to be dialed in at an alignment shop so I havent driven it. This is the new front height.....

It's not the slammed look, just a lowered look.

30" . you have really skinny tire?
I'M at 30" too and the tire is almost flush with the fender.

ouly the outer tie-rod would have been ok. (Chaning the inner sucks sometimes.)
To the look of it: Your outer have been chopped quite more then needed :|
