Best lowering ? F150 2007 .
Hello, I have a 2007 Crew Cab FX4 and I intend to go down in 2013 because his height, but I will not race tracks, I enjoy managing my truck, so I'm after is a great handling and control, increase stability and security in both straight and curved. Now, as I read in this forum, but I'm confused, should I install struts or should I go with springs in the front. The Lord of DJM / Belltech DIRECT seems like using DJM Belltech front and back, but not just because struts and springs? With that configuration I get the best ride, because I will not drive a truck extremely hard on the suspension. Another point, even if it is not to diminish the truck, my attention WATTS system, to help with rear stability, I seriously do. Another consideration: mechanical or systems downstream air bag? . Which one will get closer to my requirements? . Thank you.
PS For purists: In my country only sells the FX4, that's what I have and I will invest this money.

3/5 I think it would be a good reduction, but as 4WD may require something more to reach the reduction 3/5 obtained in a 2WD. I do not want to go too low because the roads are not in good condition and is always preferred some height.

I have a 2007 reg. cab F150(2wd) sitting on 305/40/22. I went with the Bell-tech 3/5 drop, and I chose to use the new springs and the flip kit for the rear. I keep eating up the inside of my front tires at about 15-20,000 miles. All of the tire shops said that they can't get the alignment set all the way because of the way the kit makes my truck sit. Idk if it's because I'm running some wide meats(305/40/22) or what? I think the kit was just the right height, but I just have to solve my tire wear problem.

I think Belltech shows how to fix the alignment issue on their page... And tell me about it my old truck (now my sisters) had a 4'6 drop on 305-35-24 ate the tires like every 3-5K miles

No kidding? I'll have to check into it. Thanks! 35 series tires?!! Lol I bet that was rough. I wanted 24's, but that was the reason I chose not to.

I know you have to cut something to make more movevable space for a bolt im not sure though... Yes sir 35 on all corners... The rear fender would actually sit on the back tire thank goodnes for air shocks as for the front minimal rub when turning

It's been awhile since I was underneath it, but I definitely will be checking into it. I'm tired of not being able to rotate my tires and trashing them so quickly. Besides that, it's too tall without the drop kit.
