2013 RCSB Rear flip kit
This weekend I'll be throwing a djm rear flip kit on my truck. It's the 4" set. This will be the first time I've done this. Does anyone have any tips? Or things they've learned doing this To their truck?
I bought this kit to try and eliminate the shudder/vibration I get at 15-20mph. And to have the truck have the sport look I've been hunting for. All help will be appreciated.

Awesome post pics when done! I have seen pictures of guys with the 4" djm flip kit and the forward part of the rear leafs are visible below the sides of the truck, that's what I didn't want that kit but I also want to go either 4" or 5" in mine

Right, it's just more visible on flip kits that use hangers

Best way for anyone else looking to do this. Read the instructions. Set all the parts out. Make sure you have all the parts. Check all the bolts with the holes they are suppose to go through. I had to drill out some of the holes because of either the coating, or they weren't cut correctly in the first place. See photo below. Next read the instructions again. Look under the truck. Line up all the parts and get an understanding of what goes where. What will be the best way to remove the leaf springs. And in case you didn't know you have to remove the gas tank to get the driver side spring bolt out. Not to hard. But another step none the less. You may need to pry the brackets that lower where the leaf spring connects to. Mine spring wouldn't even start to go into the bracket until we spread it apart. That goes for both sides. Make sure you have plenty of day light to do this. With air tools, and having all the tools to drill, cut, and spread it took a friend and I 6 hours. Although we have never done a flip kit like this before. We've done others on Chevys and dodges but first on a new ford. Good luck. And I'd strongly suggest getting the any lowering kit from tony on here. He answered his phone on a Sunday afternoon to help us out when we ran into a few problems. Customer service could never be better than that.
