Before and After..Belltech 2" shackle install
Aside from my dumb self putting the shim in backwards the first time around and having to flip it around after I took it for a test ride, it was a pretty easy and straight-forward install. No big surprises to speak of.
Having been in modified diesels for the last 12 years, this is my first venture back into a gas engine and so far, I'm loving this truck. Only mods so far are the bumper grill, the bed cover and the lowering shackle/shim kit.
It's killing me not to mod the snot out of the engine, but I've got a warranty to think about now.

Looks great! Sure so miss my red 03, color just pops!!
Other simple, cheap and warranty friendly mods are.
*Remove EcoBoost Emblem
*Cut Factory Antenna
*Install a 5.0 Drivers Side Bumper Pad
*Remove exhaust tip, cut 8-10" off tailpipe and reinstall tip.
*Mirror Reflector Delete
*Rear Wheel Liners

Truck looks really good! I have a set of Belltech shackles on the way also. I didnt order the shims though. Im wondering if i am going to need them. I had some shackles on my 2010 and didnt use shims. Guess ill find out after the install...

I will be getting new black and red badges and taking the Ecoboost badge off.
Well well liners are next on the list. I've seen the shorty antennas, but I've read the reception with the HD Radio is terrible. Since the only station I listen to is on HD Radio, I don't want to lose that.
I knew before I got to 10 mph I had put the shims in backwards...terrible vibration. Shook the whole truck.
