are you disconnecting the battery when you are replacing it or when you installed your lowering kit?

I had it at the dealer for EPAS replace under warranty. I'm sure it was done.

Nope. I have 4wd 2011 with a similar drop and I haven't had any steering issues and I've put a lot of miles over the last couple years.

Okay, new poster with questions that have probably been answered before but your forum has a lot to wade through in a search (not that it's a bad thing). So, to satisfy the OP, here is what I have or am contemplating purchasing:

Just need you to answer below questions so I can give you the best answer.
1) what year truck?

2011

2) 2wd or 4wd?

2wd

3) how low do you want to go?

2 inches

4) budget you want to be in?

need help there

5) belltech or djm item or both doesn't matter

not sure

Looking at a decent 2011 Super cab, 5.0. My wife cannot easily get into this truck due to short legs, bad knee & back. Currently own a 2008 Explorer Sport Track 4x4 that she has no problem entering.

My questions, what it might take to lower the F150 without losing the ability to tow a 6000 pound travel trailer or payload, if possible.

I appreciate any info and hope I posted this in the correct forum category.

Thank you in advance,

Murff

BTW, when did a 2WD F150 become the same height as a 4WD?

It depends on which leafs and springs ford put in. It varires.

Well option 1 would be front 0-3 drop struts front/rear 2 inch shavkle/pinion shim/shocks rear. 435 shipped and your set to go. You can still load her up also

Thanks AM. Do you have a ballpark figure of what a shop might charge to install the kit?

Hi I just ordered some lowering shackles for my 2015 f150 and I'm trying to figure out how to remove the top bolt on shackle. How are you guys getting them out?
