in rear 4 inch is the least you can go. unless you want to go 2 inch with shackles

I'd like to keep the price around $500-$600 an 4" in the rear would be good. I wouldn't mind lowering the front by 2" but that would cost too much and alter the ride. My wife has a hard time getting in and the step isn't enough.

About that 1/3 drop on 2009:

I have 4wd platinum, and as I work a lot in downtown I go to lots of underground parkings.
So the idea behind it is to have a slight or no drop in front (1" or so) and bigger drop at back (4-5") and have airbags installed at rear (may be fronts as well) to be able to correct height of truck to level position for regular driving or slightly lower when going in tight places.

To sum up I am looking now at:
adjustable fronts (may be air bags as well, main thing is not to mess up geometry too much)
rear drop up to 4"-5"
airbags with compressor to keep truck level while riding.
Budget is not critical, but should be reasonable.
Truck still has warranty, I don't want to mess with it too much as well.

Thank you.

Thank you.
ive done tons of 4x4s with the coilovers in front/rear double adjustable shocks and rear 4 inch kit and there has been no problems. Tows fine and handles great due to the double adjustable set up.

trust me on this with a 2/4 drop on your truck you still have tons of space left there is no need for airbags.
