5) belltech or djm, both, doesn't matter to me. I like quality.
Need you to measure truck from ground to fenderlip and thickness of rear block.

Getting new wheels and tires and will be installing a lowering kit 2/4.
Should I
a) lower, get an alignment, then wheels
b) wheels, then lower, then alignment
c) lower, get wheels, then alignment

lowering and wheels would be happening within a week of each other, and alignment will either come immediately after lowering, or after lowering and getting the wheels. I was leaning toward C, lowering, running it for no more than a week, going to the wheel shop and getting wheels put on and then getting an alignment immediately after

or does it matter?

Lower it then align with new tires. You won't wear out old tires in few days before you put new rims on

I have a 2012 fx4 with the belltech 2/3 drop, and am looking to get it lower. Do I have any other options?

McGaughys lowering kit 70029 came with bump stops.
the bump stops have a lock washer then a nut but the hole from the stock bump stops are threaded. Do you need to use the lock washer and nut?

came like this:
